About Professor Dr. S.M. Lutfor Rahman I honorably Passed MBBS from Sheer-E-Bangla Medical College, Barisal in 1989 and successfully completed my internship next year. Since then I have been serving my patients with cincerity and dignity. Always I have interest in Respiratory Medicine and I had Honored WHO Scholarship for Fellowship in Respiratory Medicine in the University of Toronto, Canada in 2002. After that I got the most longest and prestigious degree in respiratory medicine, the FCPS (Pulmonology) from the highest authority of doctors in Bangladesh, the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS). I worked in Dhaka Medical College from 2003 to 2007 and in the topmost institute of Respiratory medicine, The National Institute of Diseases of the Chest and Hospital (NIDCH), Mohakhali, Dhaka from 2008 to 2020. Recently I joined one of the Reputed Medical College in Dhaka, the Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College from last of January 2020. I also worked 5 years in Wazirpur Upazila Health complex after joining 17th BCS from 1997 to 2002. During this long periods of about 32 years of experience in the field of medical science, I experienced a lot for serving my patients. I am very much interested to deal with the patient of Asthma, Allergy, COPD, Tuberculosis, Day time Somnolence, Snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Nasal Block and Runny Nose, Chest infections, Lung cancer and all other chest disease including patients presenting with complaints of Cough, Sputum production, Hemoptysis, Dyspnea, Wheeze , Chest tightness, Fever, weight loss etc.
